New Electrical Service Upgrade Completed Free of Charge on January 11, 2010. New Service Upgrade for Cottage Grove Home of Active Duty Minnesota Army National Guard Member
On January 11, 2010, Primary Electric, located in Maple Grove, donated a complete new 200 amp electrical service upgrade, which included all labor, electrical permits and materials, for the Cottage Grove family home of First Sergeant Larry Clatt of the Minnesota Army National Guard.
First Sergeant Clatt, who has been in active duty in Iraq since February 2008, is a 22-year veteran of the Minnesota Army National Guard serving in the 34th Infantry Division Rock Band, responsible for keeping the morale of the deployed soldiers high. As First Sergeant, he is in command of 45 soldiers, a very responsible job in any military unit, with even more emphasis when citizen-soldiers are in a combat zone.
“Our military personnel, and their families at home, are making a tremendous sacrifice for our country,” said Chris Boettcher, owner of Primary Electric. “I wanted to show my thanks and support each year by giving one Minnesota soldier and family a no-cost new electrical service upgrade for their home. With the generous support of our supplier partners, we were able to make this happen for a very deserving family.”
When he is back in Minnesota, First Sergeant Larry Clatt resides in Cottage Grove with his wife Sue, two sons and daughter. First Sergeant Clatt is an IT Technician for the Minnesota National Guard, responsible for keeping the technology needs of the guard at a high level of readiness.
